Then you must make fudge when the snow falls.
In all my years of baking and cooking, this is honestly the fastest fudge recipe I've ever made.
Absolutely delicious too.
No worries about the sugar crystallizing, or the chocolate seizing . Nope.
Just easy , rich and creamy fudge.
You will need:
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 package of your favorite chips.
Chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, dark chocolate. What ever you like.
And you will need 1 Cup of add ins. Such as peppermint marshmallows, nuts, M&M's, crushed candy canes, crushed Oreo cookies, etc... etc..
Again.. what ever you like.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a heat proof bowl.
Microwave on high for one to one and a half minutes.
Take bowl out of microwave and stir in chips.
Keep stirring , until the chips are melted and mixture is creamy.
Then: stir in your add-ins.
Pour into a prepared pan.
I used some foil pans that are disposable; approximately 5x7 inches in size.
I also make this recipe and pour into a prepared 8x8 inch glass pan.
Wrap a pretty ribbon around the pan. There you have it.
A delicious and appreciated gift.
Or... cut into squares and enjoy. ( I cut the fudge before it had completely cooled and that's the reason it looks too soft. Try and wait until the fudge cools completely to cut into squares....if you can wait that is.)
The possibilities are endless.
White chocolate and peppermint.
Dark chocolate and walnut.
Peanut butter and chocolate chunk.
Use your creativity.
Attitude of gratitude:
~I'm grateful that I've been able to truly embrace the idea of simplifying.
Grateful to use my creativity. Grateful to be happy with the everyday miracles.
~I'm grateful that the roads are clear of snow, and safe to drive on.
I don't worry as much about my son driving to school, or hubby driving to work.
~I'm so grateful that I slept like a hibernating bear last nigh. Ahhhh. Rested and rejuvenated.

ReplyDeletePS. I understand the appreciation for embracing simplicity. Yesterday, I saw a photo of my grandma sitting on the pile of un-hung frames in my disastrous laundry room... then imagined grandma saying, "Corine, you really would have a lot more time and a more peaceful life if you would just get rid of this junk!" Yikes! I feel like grandma is seeing my trash! I think I better simplify AGAIN!!! :p
Oh my heavens! I just love fudge... especially peanut butter... LOVE the creative options... YUM!
